About us

Kalundborg Linesmen mooring and unmooring services are synonymous with quality, safety and efficiency. We are available in the port around the clock and can reach any vessel without delay Kalundborg Linesmen ApS founded in 2001 and has been serving most of the vessels calling at Kalundborg offering mooring- and maritime service. Since 2019 we aquired the companies Fredericia Linesmen and Aalborg Trosseføring in Aalborg and together we constantly are looking for development and expansion.

With 20 years of experience, we offer the necessary security and knowhow in our services. We are authorized and certified in handling the processes correctly, and our team has even developed educational material on correct and safe mooring. Our main business is mooring and unmooring services for all types of vessels – no vessel is too small or too big. However, we also offer a wide range of additional services to meet our customer’s needs; for instance, rigging of fenders for STS, boat hire, crew hire, fire watch, various tasks at terminals and transportation.

Kalundborg Linesmen 20th anniversary

This year Kalundborg Linesmen ApS celebrate 20 years of professional mooring- and maritime services. 20 years in business is a major milestone, and we are proud of how the company has developed over the last 20 years. Two decades in the business makes us an experienced partner with great know-how and a long track record of happy clients. Kalundborg Linesmen today active in Kalundborg, Fredericia and Aalborg. We are very positive about the development and welcome all kinds of nautical challenges ensuring future growth.

New ownership

For the last 20 years Keld Jensen and Ole Larsen have shared a 50/50 ownership of Kalundborg Linesmen. This year Keld has announced his retirement. Jan Merling-Petersen is taking over Keld’s place in the company, acquiring 50% of the ownership. Jan has been in the shipping industry for more than 30 years and has experience in virtually all aspects of shipping and well known to the needs and challenges of the shipowners/operators and agents.
